Maritime Simulation Instructor and Assessor Training Program

Objectives

The use of simulators in maritime training provides a powerful tool to ensure  consistent, repeatable, accessible and authentic experiential learning.

Qualified instructors and instructional designers are key elements in a successful  simulation program. Indeed, under Section A-I/6 of the STCW Code, all personnel  using simulation to train and assess seafarers are required to be appropriately  qualified.
