Virtual Reality Simulators
Pre-Launch Inspection
Virtual Marine’s Virtual Reality Pre-Launch Inspection (VR-PLI) safety trainer consists of Virtual Reality hardware and Virtual Marine’s simulation training software. This “hands on” safety trainer enables trainees to repetitively practice launch procedures from the moment of arriving at the boat station until the boat is in the water with hooks released. 360° immersive and interactive environment allows trainees to master procedures required to inspect a lifeboat and launch davits. The trainee uses a controller to move the virtual hands to grasp, pull or turn various fitted equipment in the virtual environment.
Fast Rescue Craft
Virtual Marine’s Virtual Reality Fast Rescue Craft (VR-FRC) trainer operates as a stand-alone, highly realistic and interactive simulator of small boat operations. A portable and engaging technology medium, the VR-FRC enables trainees to practice critical boat procedures and maneuvers in a safe and controlled manner before conducting on-the-water operations. 360° immersive environment allows trainees to master boat and navigation procedures including launch and recovery.
Lifeboat
Virtual Marine’s Virtual Reality Lifeboat Simulator (VR-LB) consists of Virtual Reality hardware and Virtual Marine’s simulation training software. 360° immersive environment allows trainees to master procedures required to launch a lifeboat and safely evacuate the scene of the emergency.
