St. John’s, NL – Lin Paddock, former Executive Director of the Aerospace Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland & Labrador (ADIANL), has joined Virtual Marine Technology as Business Development Manager – Defence & Coast Guard. Cdr (Ret’d) Paddock began his distinguished career in the Canadian Armed Forces by completing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree (Honours) from College Militaire Royale in 1989. He was commissioned as a Maritime Surface Warfare (MARS) Officer, earned his Naval Certificate of Competency and then transferred to Naval Logistics, where much of his career was focused on at-sea support. Over a 25 year period, his work in the Royal Canadian Navy was focused on operational support at sea, across the fleet and at the national level. Lin’s last CAF post was as Director of Finance for all military operations in Ottawa.
